Redthread is the most common local turf disease
Turf diseases can be controlled safely with professional fungicides
Most lawn diseases occur when grass remains wet and warm for a long period causing Redthread, Fusarium Patch ("Snow Mould") or other fungal infections. In these humid conditions mushrooms and toadstools may also appear which can simply be brushed away but diseases may require a professional fungicide application.
Our quarterly feeds combined with annual aeration and scarification will help to minimise lawn diseases. Prevention is better than cure!
